County United Way is proud to announce its RFP guidelines for the Community Impact Grants, and Community Impact Strategy Map.

County United Way envisions a community where everyone has an opportunity to succeed. From the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Report for Maryland, we have confirmed that one in three households in our region have hidden financial struggles and are just one life event away from falling into poverty. We have implemented this grantmaking program to help those households thrive.

CUW’s Community Impact Grants will be awarded to single applicants or collaborative partnerships that address the target populations and identify a primary impact area with at least one outcome from the Community Impact Strategy Map. We will only consider applications that produce outcomes in these areas.

Beginning in 2020 and through 2025, County United Way will provide financial support, as available, to programs aligned with the Community Impact Strategy Map, which serves as a compass to address health, education, and financial stability challenges facing our region. CUW will focus its resources wherein organizations can make the greatest impact and contribute to significant outcomes.
