Thank You Garrett County!
OAKLAND MD – We were at the Oakland Golf Course for the annual First United Bank and Trust Golf Tournament benefiting United Way of Garrett County on Friday. This event has traditionally been the largest annual fundraising event in Garrett County, but this year it was astronomical. Thanks to First United Bank and Trust for organizing and hosting this event. Without each one of you, this event and the work we do in Garrett County wouldn’t be possible. Second, we would like to thank each team, team member, sponsor and volunteer. This year was a record-breaking year, because of you all.
Michele Walker, Executive Director, was presented with a check for $40,000. Every dollar will stay in Garrett County. We are ecstatic and so appreciative of each and every one of you. Thank you all!
