The level of public service disruption, destruction and continuing hardship created by the local May 13th flooding continues to challenge our community in new ways every day.

Rescue emergencies that our public safety teams heroically faced are now behind us and the challenge of filling continuing needs for housing, clothing, access to communications and nutrition remains… as do many questions about the speed and scale of rebuilding critical infrastructure and citizen’s homes.

Working with our United Way team volunteers, partner agencies and organizations, County United Way is shifting our efforts by directing contributions into county specific funds that will be applied to human services needs as coordinators in our communities identify and prioritize them. This will help ensure that 100% of funds donated will go directly to your neighbor’s needs as they evolve.
